You are probably here because you want to know if CashCrate is a scam or just a complete waste of time. Well I’m not only going to give you an unbiased review but I’m also going to talk from experience since I’m also a former member of the program, in fact cash crate was one of the first programs I discovered online.
I remember back in 2008 I spent about 3 hours at about 12 am in the morning searching on Google and YouTube for ways to make money online. One of the videos I found was from a guy who was recommending this program called cashcrate. But before I tell you my story with it let me explain what CashCrate actually is.
How Does CashCrate Work?
This program is basically a place where you can get paid for taking surveys and sponsored offers. They been around since 2006 and joining is 100% free which I guess rules out the scam option because they are not stealing your money or asking you to pay to be a part of their network. When you join you’ll have offers and surveys you can complete which can take 10-15 minutes each. In order to meet the minimum payout requirement you must have earned at least $20 in your account.
However, keep in mind each survey and/or offer pays peanuts, meaning sometimes you’ll get paid 50 cents or a bit more depending on the complexity of the survey and what they are asking you to do. Sometimes you’ll have to signup for trial offers from different companies and products in order to get paid for the completion of that offer so just keep those things in mind.
That’s basically how they work in a nutshell, they also have many documented proof of people who have been paid since they launched back in 2006. Like I said in the beginning CashCrate was one of my first attempts at making money online and after about a month of being a member I discovered the REAL way to make money.
The REAL Truth About CashCrate
The brutal truth is that if you want to make money you have to refer other people to the program because honestly you could spend hours doing surveys and signing up for a bunch of offers and end up with $20 at the end of the month. It’s time consuming and in my opinion it was a complete waste of time for me.
In fact I quickly realized the BIG money with CashCrate was the referral program they had in place. Below you’ll find how the referral program works straight from their site:
The referral program has two levels. You get paid 20% of what your referrals make and 10% of what THEIR referrals make. As you refer more users to CashCrate, these levels increase until you’re earning as much as 30% of your referral’s earnings and 20% of their referral’s earnings. Plus, get extra cash bonuses along the way!
The truth is all the sites and videos of people who are making hundreds each month with Cashcrate most likely have hundreds if not thousands of referrals in their network. This is the only way to truly leverage this program and actually make a nice part-time income.
If you are not able to refer people you’ll end up wasting hours completing surveys and offers and honestly you won’t make any real money. I’m talking from experience and once I realized this I quickly move on to do other things since I knew making an extra $2,000 per month with this program required too much time and effort for the return.
Hopefully you enjoyed my review and now you have a better idea on whether or not you want to get involved with this program. Thanks for reading.
